North Coast has come a long way since its humble beginnings of a small office and warehouse out of the family garage.  Shortly after our move, North Coast founders Frank and Loretta Biehl visited for a few days to witness the amazing changes at our new location. During their visit, we had the opportunity to listen to the stories of how Frank and Loretta started the business back in 1974, when North Coast was focused solely on the distribution of occupational therapy products. Since then, it has expanded into hand and physical therapy, and with the help of their son Mark, who first joined the family business in 1978, many other healthcare markets. It was a proud moment for all of us as we reflected on how far we have come already.

Many of you have had the pleasure of meeting the Biehls, and even asked about how  “Mr. and Mrs. B” are doing.  They are doing fantastic, and wanted to share the story of their humble beginnings and the virtues that have made North Coast into what it is today in the video below.  All of us employed at North Coast are excited to carry on their vision and to fulfill their desire to assist individuals with independence and comfort in daily living.
